One of the never missed events ,
on television.
Especially among the male community ,
its a common topic of discussion.
Females resembling goddesses,
who have come down to earth.
Blessed are the parents,
who have given them birth.
The contestants of a beauty pageant,
arrive one by one.
Eyelashes painted with mascara,
skins tanned in the sun.
Their weight is lesser than paper,
they'll get blown off in a breeze.
Bodies as brittle as bangles,
which can get shattered on a sneeze.
Teeth dipped in chalk,
hair soaked in coal.
All the contestants of a pageant,
have the same goal.
Their ultimate aim is to become,
Mother Teresa in life.
But as time takes it turn,
they prefer the role of a commanding wife.
Three of them are crowned,
their future is already made.
In about a year's time,
movies,they will invade.
Judges question,"How will you utilize the prize money,
if you win this contest?"
"I promise , 50% of the money ,
in charity work I will invest."
They do charity work for the body,
relieve it off the extra weight.
They rush off to the beauty parlours,
before its too late.
Whether Miss Beautiful Skin,
or Miss Beautiful Smile,
once the make up is off,
their beauty will go into exile.
Miss World or Miss Universe,
they have got a nerve.
All this effort pays off in the future,
when they get husbands, who'll serve.
