My best friend for life,
is with me throughout the day.
Accompanies me everywhere,
does everything my way.
Gives me a shoulder to cry
when I'm sad.
Shares the merriness with me
when I'm glad.
I find utmost peace
in the company of this friend.
The bond between the two of us,
people cannot comprehend.
At times I ignore this friend
and seek others' presence.
My friend never complains,
doesn't show a bit of indifference.
This pal means a lot to me,
is part of my aptitude.
My life would never be the same
without my friend,my solitude!
